International Sculpture Center Innovator Award

The ISC Innovator Award recognizes individuals, organizations, or collectives for creative social innovation in the field of contemporary sculpture. Through the development of new ideas and work, recipients of this award improve and expand the ways that sculpture can effect change.
This call is open to all artists, no membership required.
Submissions close on September 7th, at midnight EST.
Please read the following award criteria carefully.
Eligibility and Award Criteria:
Applicants may apply as individuals or groups (such as but not limited to artists, cultural organizers, curators, nonprofit, organization, collaborative, etc.)
Available for both domestic and international entities.
Applicants may not be a current graduate or undergraduate student (*Student eligibility through the ISC Outstanding Student Achievement in contemporary sculpture awards program)
Open to sculptors/groups working in any material or medium
Considered Criteria for ISC Innovator Honorees Include:
Encouraging social change through art
Developing new ways of thinking, seeing, and interacting
Uniquely benefitting the community and/or society
Showing ingenuity in their use of media/technique/processes
Advancing methods of creative and professional growth
Award Recipient Benefits:

One year Professional (individual) or Associate (organization) level
ISC Membership
Recognition on sculpture.org and in Sculpture Magazine
Virtual event to present work/project to the ISC Sculpture Community
Residency opportunity (if available)
