Call for Artists 2026 - The Railyard Park Conservancy (Due Aug 5)
Call for Artists 2026 - The Railyard Park Conservancy
Deadline: August 5th, 2026
The Railyard Park Conservancy’s (RPC) Railyard Art Project (RAP) is now accepting proposals for temporary public art installations and creative projects in Santa Fe’s Railyard Park + Plaza. Thanks to generous funding from Santa Fe’s Arts and Culture Commission, RAP will be hosting two projects between October 2026 and June 2027, with each receiving a $3,500 honorarium, as well as marketing support and liability insurance.
The RAP Committee encourages collaboration across disciplines (art, science, history, etc.) and welcomes thoughtful, challenging, playful and edifying art in the context of social and cultural expression and environmental sustainability. Proposed projects must be able to physically withstand outdoor public display, and engage the community by responding to the natural and social landscape of the Railyard Park + Plaza.
Considerations for selection include:
· Overall artistic merit
· Context and familiarity with the proposed site
· Practical viability
· Potential for community engagement and cultural/educational enrichment
