2026 Andy Warhol Visual Arts Program - The Nature Conservancy (Due July 16)
2026 Andy Warhol Visual Arts Program - The Nature Conservancy
Deadline: July 16th, 2026
The Nature Conservancy in New York’s Andy Warhol Visual Arts Program is accepting applications for artists through July 24.
The program seeks artists to lead an outdoor workshop in fall 2026 at the Andy Warhol Preserve, an ocean-front property in Montauk donated to The Nature Conservancy by the Andy Warhol Foundation in 1992. It is a rare opportunity to visit and lead a workshop at a storied property that is generally closed to the public.
Supported by the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, The Andy Warhol Visual Arts Program has created a community of artists, students and educators who convene to celebrate the beauty and artistry of the natural world.
Four artists will be chosen by the program’s selection committee. Applicants are invited to design an outdoor art-making workshops suitable for a range of ages with a connection to the preserve and its stunning natural surroundings. Artists with previous workshop teaching experience are encouraged to apply.
The workshop should be suitable for a range of ages with a connection to the preserve and its natural surroundings. All artists chosen to lead a workshop will receive a stipend of $1,000 to include reasonable supplies.
Please note that the workshops will take place entirely outdoors at the Andy Warhol Preserve. Artists will be responsible for their own transportation to the preserve. The site is a short walk from the designated parking area and does not have access to running water or electricity. As this is a fully outdoor setting, we kindly ask that you ensure your workshop can be conducted successfully under these conditions.
