2020 JURORS

caitlin teal price

Caitlin Teal Price received a BFA in photography from the Parsons School of Design and an MFA from the Yale School of Art. Using photography and drawing Price explores themes of ritual and routine found in the undercurrents of daily life. Her work is included in both private and public collections, including the Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art in San Bernardino, CA and the American University Museum in Washington DC. She has been exhibited both nationally and internationally, including Fotografiska Museum in Stockholm Sweden, Bernarducci Meisel Gallery in NYC and the National Portrait Gallery in Washington, DC. Her work has been published in periodicals such as The New Yorker, The New York Times, Bloomberg Business Week and TIME magazine. Capricious Publishing NYC published her first monograph, Stranger Lives, in December 2016. Price is co-founder of STABLE, an artist studio program and exhibition space in Washington, DC.

tim doud

Tim Doud’s paintings and drawings address two seemingly distinct bodies of work, one figurative and one abstract. These bodies of works serve as a backdrop to broader discussions around constructed identities, branding and commodity culture. He graduated from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago with an M.F.A in Painting and Drawing. He attended Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Skowhegan, Maine. Recent exhibitions include Mono Practice, Baltimore, MD, Raygun, Toowoomba, Australia, Curator's Office, Washington, DC, New Bedford Museum of Art, Tacoma Art Museum, Kemper Contemporary Art Museum, Kansas City, MO and the Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery, Washington, DC. His work has been included in exhibitions at PS1 (MOMA) in New York City, The Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, DC, Artists Space in New York City and the Frye Art Gallery in Seattle, Washington, Art Basel, Basel, Switzerland, Galerie Brusberg, Berlin and MC Magma, Milan, Italy. He has received grants from The Belle Foundation for Cultural Development, San Jose, CA, The National Endowment for the Arts (Arts Midwest), The Pollock Krasner Art Foundation, DC Commission for the Arts and Humanities and participated in residencies at The Banff Centre, Alberta, Canada, the Sharpe/ Walentas Studio Program in Brooklyn, NY and the Golden Foundation, NY. Tim Doud is currently a Professor at American University. Tim is represented by Curator’s Office in Washington, DC

linn meyers’s paintings, drawings, and site specific works have been shown in public and private venues, including The Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington, DC, The Hammer Museum in Los Angeles, CA, The Phillips Collection, Washington, DC, The Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Art, Tokyo, Japan, The Corcoran Museum of Art, Washington, DC, The Smithsonian American Art Museum, Washington, DC, The Drawing Center, NYC, The National Museum of Women in the Arts, Washington, DC, Sandra Gering Inc, NYC, Jason Haam, Seoul, South Korea, ParisConcret, Paris, France, and The Bowdoin Museum, Brunswick, ME, among others.

meyers is the recipient of numerous awards and fellowships, including a Smithsonian Artist Research Fellowship, The Pollock Krasner Award, a Santo Foundation award, and five DC Commission on the Arts grants. She has been Artist In Residence at The Hirshhorn Museum in Washington DC, The Bemis Institute in Omaha NE, The Millay Colony in Austerlitz, NY, The San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art, CA, Ballinglen Arts Foundation, Ireland, and The Tamarind Institute in Albuquerque, NM.

meyers hold a BFA from The Cooper Union and an MFA from the California College of the Arts. Her monograph, “linn meyers, works, 2004-2018” was co-published by Radius Books, The Columbus Museum and Jason Haam.
