SHORT CUTS - SHED Projects (Due June 15)

SHORT CUTS - SHED Projects
Deadline: June 15, 2026

Film & Video work FIVE (5) MINUTES AND UNDER — Submissions Are Open

SHORT CUTS is SHED Projects’ international short film festival centering experimental, artist-made films — and SHED Projects is officially accepting submissions for October 1–4, 2026.

The one requirement is: 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗺 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝘃𝗲 (𝟱) 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀. 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗶𝘁.

SHED Projects prioritize formally adventurous, non-commercial work and create space for artists at all stages of their practice — students, emerging, established, and everything in between. If it’s rigorous, poetic, strange, materially curious, or pushing form, SHED Projects want to see it.

The primary public screening will take place at the Cleveland Cinematheque at the Cleveland Institute of Art (Thursday, Oct. 1), with a secondary screening at The Capitol Theatre (Sunday, Oct. 4). The full program will stream on SHED’s website the following week.

The festival includes a $1,000 cash prize
