Child's Play - North Hills Art Center
Drop-off: April 13th–17th, 2026

The North Hills Art Center invites you to submit artwork for our upcoming exhibition, Child's PlayChild's Play calls the young at heart to explore themes of youth, nostalgia, imagination, and the spirit of play. Although the NHAC encourages art education and appreciation for artists of all ages, please remember that only artists who are at least 18 years of age may participate in our gallery shows. Those artists too young to enter the show are warmly invited to attend the opening reception on April 25 or visit the show through May 22. 

Drop off for art is April 13 - 17, from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. 

Pick up of unsold pieces will be May 26 - 29.

Entry fee per piece: $15 for non-members/ $10 for members.

Payable via cash, check, or card at drop off.

Each artist may enter up to three (3) pieces in Child's Play.

GENERAL EXHIBIT POLICIES

  • Pieces are not juried for acceptance into the show. Pieces are judged for awards.

  • Artist must be at least 18 years of age to participate. 

  • All entered pieces must be original art work. No AI generated pieces will be accepted.

  • All entered pieces cannot have been judged in a previous NHAC show.

  • All pieces must have been  created within the last two (2) years.

  • All 2D pieces accepted into the show must be properly wired in order to be hung in the show.

    You should have anchors on both the right and left back sides of the picture/frame and picture grade wire stretched across the back and secured at each anchor. If you do not know how to do this, Michael’s on McKnight Road does a very nice job for approximately $5.00 and often in a few minutes while you wait. DIY Kits are usually available at Target or Home Depot. Unwired entries will not be accepted.

  • The NHAC reserves the right to refuse any piece for content.  

  • All pieces entered in the show must be priced for sale.  The NHAC receives a 30% commission from the sale of any piece during the exhibit.

  • The NHAC is not responsible for any damage, loss or theft from the exhibit.

  • There is a $25.00 fee for each piece of art work that is not picked up during the pickup dates and times

  • Art work not picked after 30 days following the last pick up day will become the sole property of the NHAC.

  • All pieces must be labeled on the back with the artist's name, artwork title, and price.

  • Each artist must submit a signed exhibition contract along with their art.
