The Pittsburgh Creative Corps is a group of pre-qualified artists whose work has been reviewed by a panel of artists, art and design professionals, and community stakeholders. The Pittsburgh Creative Corps supports the rapid deployment of the artists in the Corps and their creative practices to respond to various public art and artist-led programming opportunities throughout the year.
Applying to and Nominating an Artist for the Pittsburgh Creative Corps
Artist applications and nominations are accepted on a rolling basis and will be reviewed twice throughout the year; once in the Fall and once in the Spring. Application and/or nomination is not a guarantee of selection to the Corps.
For consideration in the Spring Review, applications must be submitted by Monday, March 9, 2026 at 11:59 PM.
For consideration in the Fall Review, applications must be submitted by Monday, September 14, 2026 at 11:59 PM.
Interested artists are encouraged to attend an online information session on Monday, February 23, 2026 at 10 AM. Attendance is not required to submit an application, but it is a good opportunity to have any questions answered by Shiftworks staff.
