R.A.R.O. Bogotá Full Grant Residency (Due Dec. 15)

R.A.R.O. Bogotá Full Grant Residency
Deadline: December 15th, 2025

RARO (Rarely Organized Artistic Residencies) is an international residency program that challenges the traditional model. It is a self-managed program that chooses not to be based in a single physical space, but rather articulates a collaborative network of more than 20 local artists' studios that host the residents in their own spaces and support the development of their creative processes.

Founded in Buenos Aires in 2014, the program has hosted over 300 artists from around the world. Since 2014, it has operated in Bogotá, where it has already welcomed more than 70 artists . Throughout its history, the program has forged partnerships with various institutions to promote scholarship programs, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening artistic production and interdisciplinary exchange through itinerant residencies.

RARO 's proposal offers artists the opportunity to work alongside colleagues, curators, managers, and researchers for specific periods, creating spaces for dialogue, reflection, and collaboration. In addition to work in the network's workshops, the program offers complementary activities such as visits to studios, public and private collections, discussions, field trips, and art critiques, thus enriching each resident's experience.
