Assemble is seeking Makers for our unique and interactive annual fundraising event, MakerDate. Past Makers are encouraged to apply!
About MakerDate: MakerDate is a remix of a date auction that pairs local Makers with curious skill-seekers. It is like a playdate for grownups where you get to meet a local expert and learn how to make something. Bid to learn how to code, brew beer, or create a mural with the creative community of Pittsburgh. The possibilities are endless! It is also an amazing opportunity to connect with fellow artists, makers, and technologists. All of the funds we raise at MakerDate go to directly supporting Assemble’s STEAM education programs for kids, like Assemble Afterschool, Saturday Crafternoons, and Summer Camps!
As a Maker, you will:
Submit a Maker application by May 16, 11:59 pm.
Volunteer to commit 4 hours to attend the MakerDate event + VIP hour
Supply materials for your Date, OR utilize Assemble's space & resources
Promote MakerDate to your networks - Assemble will provide a media kit
Benefits to being a Maker:
Get promoted in the MakerDate Makers line up - on social media & Assemble's website
Create a personalized video about your work with Assemble's team - you will also receive a copy for your own use!
Build connections at two networking opportunities:
