Touchstone Center for Crafts is thrilled to be hosting The Figure In Craft national juried exhibition. This exhibition explores the intricate intersection between figurative art and craft mediums, offering a curated selection of works that reflect the human figure, identity, and emotions through hands-on, traditional processes. Featuring a wide array of craft-based techniques, the show highlights the skill and artistry involved in creating human representations with clay, textiles, wood, metal, paper, and glass.

Eligibility

We invite artists working in all mediums to submit their work for consideration in The Figure In Craft, an exhibition that celebrates the intersection of figurative art and the craftsmanship of diverse materials. This exhibition will feature works that explore the human figure, identity, and emotion through traditional, tactile processes, embracing a broad range of craft techniques.

Please submit original work that has been completed within the last three (3) years. Touchstone Center for Crafts reserves the right to reject any work that is not suitably prepared for exhibition or that differs from the original submission. All work must no larger than 30” in any direction.

1st Place: One 100% off tuition scholarship for any 2025 Touchstone workshop
2nd Place: One 50% off tuition scholarship for any 2025 Touchstone workshop

Entries and Fees

$35 for up to 3 entries.
Applications open May 1st. All entries must be received by June 1st.
