Bare Men: The Group Show: (Due. Aug 10)
Bare Men: The Group Show is a group photography exhibition of the male nude curated and presented by Abigail Ekue.
Artists are invited to submit photography of the male nude ranging from the classical to the raw & erotic. Bare Men: The Group Show will showcase art which celebrates all expressions of the male nude - the sensuality, strength, vulnerability and sexuality.
WHAT TO SUBMIT:
Male nude photography. Nudes can be academic nudes, figure studies or bodyscapes, self portraits, fashion or glamour nudes, erotic nudes, editorial portraits, urban & outdoor/nature, conceptual, humorous and/or dance & movement photography. Works do not have to feature a single body/model. Work must depict men/models age 21 and over.
WHO CAN SUBMIT:
Photographers at any stage of their career can submit. POC and LGBTQ photographers are encouraged to submit their work. The show is also open to hobbyists as long as your work is presented professionally.

FEES & COMMISSIONS:
The fee is $20 for up to 5 images. If you'd like to submit more than 5 images, a separate submission is required.
All work exhibited will be for sale. The artist sets the sale price. Artist(s) will receive 70 percent of the final sale price and the curator(s) shall retain 30 percent as commission.
Please name your jpeg file(s) in following format: LASTNAME_FirstName_TITLE_SIZE (inches). ex. DOE_John_NUDEPHOTO_8x10. File(s) must be JPEGs set to 1200 pixels on the longest side, at 150 dpi. Please do not submit watermarked images.
Submissions sent via email or direct mail will not be eligible.

Artists must be the creator or copyright holder of the submitted work. You, the artist, retains all rights to your work. Curator has the right to post and share select images online (eg. website, social media) and in the press with proper attribution to the artist for the sole purpose of promoting the exhibit.
DROP OFF DATES:
Work selected for the exhibit should be received by September 27. If you’re based in NY and/or would like to deliver your work in-person, you can do so on September 28 and 29.
ADDITIONAL TERMS AND INFO:
All artists that submit work will be notified via email once a decision has been made on their photography submission.
Artists whose work has been selected will receive a contract detailing the terms of the agreement.
All selected work must be delivered the way you want the work displayed and sold. If you are submitting framed, canvas art, metal prints and/or mounted photographs include the necessary hanging hardware. Photo prints will be hung with clips or putty.
Please deliver all work in/with resealable protective packaging.
Artists are responsible for promptly shipping or transporting selected works to/from pickup and drop off locations as applicable.
