AAP x Bunker
Arts Writing Residency

In January 2019, the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh and Bunker Projects are partnering on an arts-writing residency. The AAP x Bunker Arts Writing Residency will create space and time to incubate art writers to create new works based on the new connections, conversations, and local engagement they experience while in residency. For the residency, AAP and Bunker will invite an arts writer to engage in programming with local artists and arts writers while living and working onsite for two weeks at Bunker Projects. The residency will include multiple engagement activities including a round table workshop on arts writing, studio visits, dedicated research and writing time.

During the residency, the resident will undertake 5–6 studio visits with AAP member artists. A portion of each studio visit will focus on writing as an artist. The 2019 resident is Tina Dillman. (Read more about Tina’s work here.) Tina will be in Pittsburgh Friday, December 28, 2018–January 11, 2019.
