Opening Night October 2nd, 2015, 6-8:30 PM

AAP Juried Group Show at the Framehouse/Jask Gallery: Drawing on Drawing  There is not a specific theme guiding the selection for this exhibit, rather the focus is on exploring the wide range and possibilities implicit in what is termed as drawing. As a communication device, a sketch, a guide, a means of navigating space and so on, drawings exist in a multitude of frameworks and are at times more potent, insightful and revealing then what becomes a ‘finished” piece. This showing is an opportunity to highlight drawings as what many artists pull from, reference, utilize and focus on as an essential component to their work. AAP member Sarika Goulatia "Sketches and Mixed media drawings" (Sample artwork)
