Membership includes the region's finest artists as well as interested community advocate members. As a non-profit organization governed by a volunteer board of directors, we are continually seeking support for our efforts. Become an Artist Member: Participate in one of the twice-yearly screenings for membership conducted by the Association's Board of Directors. Any artist residing within 150 miles of Pittsburgh, and who is over 18 years, of age is welcome to apply. Our next new member screening is Sunday, April 13, 2008 (application materials are due in the AAP office one full week prior to the actual screening). Support Our Efforts: As a non-profit organization, funds are always needed so we can continue our current efforts and expand to include new programs. Consider supporting AAP financially by making a general or directed donation. Volunteer Your Time: AAP has committees that direct its programs in a wide range of areas including strategic planning, exhibition, education and marketing among others. Learn more about volunteer opportunities and join our efforts. It's an exciting time to get involved with AAP. As we approach our centennial year, the benefits and opportunities offered by the Association are stronger than ever. Join us as we continue to cultivate participation and interest in the visual arts in our region.
