Artist Statement

Zivi Aviraz works with mixed media—using watercolors, pastels, paint on ceramic tiles and her favorite medium of acrylic. She uses found and recycled materials to create her work. Aviraz’s subject matters vary from faces to flowers to abstract works. She has shown her work in galleries, offices and schools throughout Pittsburgh, and has participated in both group and solo shows. Zivi is a member of the Associated Artist of Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh Society of Artists.  The award-winning artist sells her work in local galleries,and in NY at Agora Gallery.
