Three Rivers Arts Festival in partnership with the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh, is bringing something new and very exciting to this year's Festival.

Three Rivers Arts Festival has purchased and is rehabbing 10 shipping containers to be used for art exhibitions in the 2008 Festival. Each container is 8 x 8 x 40' long. They will be owned by the Festival, and for the 2008 event , will be placed along Forbes Ave. between Market Square and Stanwix Street. TRAF and AAP will co-curate and plan the Container project. We will choose the participating artists together, and manage the project in partnership.

All AAP members are encouraged to participate, but this particular project is open to all artists in the Pittsburgh area. Entries will be juried by two people from within each organizations, and a 5th juror will act as a tie breaking vote.
